Strategic and delivery plan
"This is the third year of work for Healthcare Improvement
Scotland and marks the next step in our organisation’s drive to
deliver effective help in improving the care patients receive
across Scotland. We are committed to helping healthcare providers
make improvements for patients by providing: sound evidence;
effective improvement support; and open, informed scrutiny (the
three elements forming our ‘cycle of improvement’).
Our Local Delivery Plan reflects what is important for
patients, the public, healthcare providers, the delivery of the
Healthcare Quality Strategy and the NHSScotland 2020 Vision. We are
also aware that our work is increasingly in the public spotlight
and we remain committed to fulfilling our responsibilities in
providing public assurance on the quality of services the public
receive."
