Conditions of registration
  1. The service will operate as an independent hospital providing a range of medical and surgical healthcare services.
  2. No one under the age of 3 years to be seen or treated on the premises. Patients between the ages of 3 and 16 years may be seen for outpatient consultations only.
  3. To provide a maximum of 21 in-patient places.
  4. To provide out-patient clinics.
  5. A registered medical officer to be present in the service over 24 hours while the service is operating.
  6. To provide 24 hour nursing care.
  7. The service shall ensure that staff possessing the appropriate skills, training and experience are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of all service users.
