Condition specific events

Condition specific event series

Between March and May 2011, the neurological services improvement programme ran a series of person-centred events at the West Park Conference Centre in Dundee, each focusing on a different neurological condition. Staff involved in the delivery of Neurological Services and people living with each specific condition were invited to attend. The events aimed to:

  • provide insights into living with a neurological condition
  • share the challenges and opportunities related to improving the quality of neurological services
  • gain a greater understanding of the priorities, in relation to all of the Neurological Standards, for people living with a neurological condition and service providers, and
  • provide an opportunity for boards to develop their neurological services improvement plans.
