Evidence notes are shorter products which review the published clinical and cost effectiveness evidence only. Where secondary literature is available, the primary literature will not be considered. Evidence notes do not make recommendations to NHSScotland and are undertaken in a short time period of approximately 3 months.
Evidence notes may be requested by SHTG on particular topics or clinical areas where they judge more evidence is required.
