Background
For the first time, the report also contains
a new section with SHTG Advice Statements, which is a new product
for SHTG. These Advice Statements will usually accompany scoping
reports, evidence notes, health technology assessments and
systematic reviews and outline the view of SHTG on the clinical and
cost effectiveness evidence in a consistent manner and, where
appropriate, give a view on the cost and service implications to
NHSScotland.
