Inspection Methodology; HAI (2011)
Methodology used by HEI to carry out inspections.
This methodology has evolved over time
to ensure that inspections remain robust, supportive, independent
and reflects the changing scope of the HEI. In addition the
methodology incorporates the learning gathered from routine
inspections, the initial prototype inspections during summer 2009
and further pilots undertaken in October 2011.
We gratefully acknowledge the
assistance given to the HEI by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (2009
& 2011), NHS Tayside (2009) and NHS Borders (2011) and the
large number of organisations and individuals who have helped shape
the methodology.
