HIV Treatment and Care
This project will develop standards for HIV services in
NHSScotland.
Our overall aim is to ensure these standards cover the key areas
identified in the scoping report:
- reduce the transmission of HIV Scotland
- reduce the levels of undiagnosed HIV in Scotland
- ensure those living with HIV have optimal health and well
being
- prevent infection where possible
- detect infection early
- provide high quality treatment and ongoing support to those who
need it
- ensure the effective co-ordination of prevention, care and
treatment activities in Scotland
- increase monitoring, evaluation and research to support the
plan.
