Stage 3 ADHD Final report

ADHD services over scotland

ADHD Services Over Scotland Final Report

This report looks at the recommendations made in our previous implementation review, the extent to which these recommendations have been implemented, and if they have improved services in Scotland for children and young people with ADHD.

The recommendations are arranged under five headings:

  • awareness raising and recognition
  • non-pharmacological interventions
  • outcomes
  • transition, and
  • systems, processes and skills.

The report also includes information about local innovations and challenges to service delivery and development.

Rather than hold individual meetings, representatives were invited to attend one of three regional sessions in Glasgow, Aberdeen or Edinburgh, or to participate by videoconference. We hoped that this would allow networking and sharing of successes and challenges with peers. At these sessions, we also shared information with NHS boards about ACHIEVE ADHD pathway modelling.
