Making Scotland’s healthcare Better Together: a person-centred improvement programme.

Healthcare Improvement Scotland took over the implementation and improvement support arm of Better Together on April 2011. This work is part of a wider person-centred focus here at Healthcare Improvement Scotland.

The ‘Better Together’ programme

Better Together is a national initiative that began feeding the experiences of the public into the improvement of NHS services in Scotland. We are taking forward the Better Together implementation work stream  as part of our patient experience focus.
