The ACHIEVE child pathway project
Healthcare Improvement Scotland commissioned
the ACHIEVE Alliance to develop preferred care pathways and
associated resources for two common disorders in children;
attention deficit hyperkinetic disorders (ADHD) and
developmental co-ordination disorder (DCD). The findings and
resources from this project are now available on our
ICP toolkit.
The ACHIEVE project reviewed existing pathways
in a defined NHS board area, and developed new pathway models that
could be easily transferred to other areas. The pathways and
resources are available for use by the health, social care and
education workforce to better support children and their
families.
